ELCC NEED TO KNOW

RDC's ELCC Certificate distance program is a BLENDED program. This means that there are two Saturday seminars per ELCC 1st year course. If you are unable to attend on campus for these seminars, we recommend that you do not apply for this program.

ELCC Certificate Program Overview

RDC's ELCC Certificate Program

Red Deer College’s Early Learning and Child Care Certificate Outreach program offers students the opportunity to study at the college level while working. The completion of your ELCC Certificate will allow you to pursue Diploma level studies where offered at accredited colleges throughout Alberta.

The ELCC Certificate Distance Delivery program combines two Saturday seminars on campus, home study and two audio classes online per course.

A certificate can be completed through part-time distance studies over a 2-3 year period. Outreach/distance students can start the ELCC program in Fall, Winter, or Spring terms.
